Project: Good governance program of UNDP focused on non-arbitrary rule making and rule of law strengthening (funded by UNDP in part to alter government’s past policy of ousting Nepalese from tropical southern areas where they had established farms and enterprises over half a century or more).

Participant numbers and learning method: Participated in initial workshop on rule of law and drafting, led a two-week workshop the following year for 25 ministry and parliament staff in workshop included judges, lawyers, senior and staff of ministries

Political Environment: As a Buddhist monarchy the country confronts unique challenges in strengthening the rule of law.
