Project: Coping with NAFTA changes (institutional change), looked at shrimp farming, human resource development, natural resources development, and finance problems.

Participant number and learning method: one week workshop with senior level officials (Ministers of Trade and Agriculture) and private sector representatives

Current Status:

Participants in this workshop went on to create a Task Force for institutional change in law and policy making in conjunction with the Society for the Promotion of Education and Research (SPEAR).
